Refund Policy

We would rather refund you than have you feel you paid for nothing. This page says plainly when we refund and when we don't.

We refund in full if

• We can't credibly value the property. Some properties don't have enough usable comparable sales to support a defensible number — rural acreage, unique or historic homes, very thin markets. Rather than sell you a number we don't believe, we cancel the order and refund you.
• We don't deliver. If your report doesn't arrive and we can't put that right promptly, you get your money back.
• The property is outside what we cover. If you order a report on a property type we can't handle — raw land, commercial property, apartment buildings over four units — we refund you.
• We made a material error. If the report was built on a property fact we got wrong, we will first offer to rerun the valuation with the correct information at no charge. If you'd rather have the money back, you can have it.
• You were charged twice, or in error. Always refunded, no questions.
• You change your mind before we start. If you paid but haven't yet submitted the property details and photographs, you can cancel for a full refund.

We generally don't refund if

• You disagree with the value. A completed, well-supported report is the product you bought, even if the number is lower or higher than you hoped. Read the adjustment grid first — if it rests on a fact about the property that's wrong, that's a material error and the clause above applies instead.
• The report wasn't accepted for a purpose it isn't meant for. We state clearly and repeatedly, before you pay, that these are not USPAP-compliant appraisals and are not accepted by mortgage lenders.
• The information or photographs you supplied were inaccurate or incomplete in a way that affected the result. Tell us anyway — we will usually rerun it.
• The property later sold for a different price. A valuation is an estimate. Markets move and individual transactions vary.

How to request a refund

Email info@aiappraisal.com or use our contact form with your order number and a short description of what happened. We aim to respond within one business day.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through Stripe. Your bank typically posts the credit within 5–10 business days.

Time limit

Please raise refund requests within 30 days of your order. We will still look at later requests, but we can't promise the same outcome.

Chargebacks

If something's wrong, please contact us before disputing the charge with your bank — we can almost always resolve it faster than a chargeback can, and a dispute freezes the funds while it runs.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.
